ERIC SAGANOV - About the Artist
Eric Saganov - "Classic Rock With An Acoustic Twist"

"One Man - One Mic - One Guitar........and sometimes a little harmonica"

The whole idea is to keep it simple and straight forward. I try to put together a really interesting selection of classic rock, folk and country hits that everyone is familiar with. My set list is comprised of selections from The Beatles, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Nirvana, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Hank Williams, Garth Brooks, Foo Fighters, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Traveling Willburys, Johnny Cash, Jackson Browne, Willie Nelson, David Bowie, The Who, Jim Croce, U2 and many others.

Having grown up outside of Boston, I began my musical career as a drummer. I studied with some pretty interesting jazz legends as well as at the New England Conservatory of Music. After becoming frustrated with not being able to entertain or express myself musically on a solo basis, I decided to learn to play the guitar as a side instrument. After digging an old Stella Harmony out of the attic, I went to the local record store ( yes I am that old ) and bought three picks, a set of strings and Mel Bay's book 1.

In a short span of time, the drums had become my back up instrument and I was 100% dedicated to Guitar. After playing on the "Metal" scene in the 80's and going through my  "Country Phase" in the 90's, I went back to the basics......Good old Classic Rock. My goal is to play songs that everybody loves and recognizes. In my opinion, if you can't make a song work with just a Guitar and your voice, it probably wasn't much of a song to start with.

An average show is a journey through nearly 40 years of great music and usually has enough variety to please almost everybody. Whether you have a deck full of spring breakers or just need some nice background dinner music, I would be more than happy to discuss your entertainment goals with you.
